Weight correlated to happiness in marriage

According to Dr. Andrea Meltzer from the psychology department at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, there is a link between body mass index (BMI) and the success or failure of a marriage.

American researchers, who studied 169 couples in a span of four years while recording the amount of weight they gained and lost every 6 month period, discovered a pattern in their relationships that correlated with the weight gain or loss.

In a report by the Daily Express based on the study, if husbands and wives gain weight, they are more likely to be happy in their marriage. But if they are losing weight, they are less likely to be happy and are trying to make themselves look attractive for other possible partners.

There are various reasons why couples get divorced, and our attorneys at Alexander & Associates are prepared to help you regardless of the cause. Call 817-756-4040 to seek help with whatever divorce needs you may have.
