According to court reports, Val Kilmer has sold his New Mexico ranch for $18.5 million. The ranch was originally put on the market for $33 million, but was dropped twice in order for it to sell.
The reason the ranch was put on the market was because it was in the middle of a legal dispute between Kilmer and his ex-wife.
His ex-wife, whom he split with in 1996, demanded this ranch as a part of the child support payments that he owed her for their two kids. The woman alleged that Kilmer had fallen behind on his $27,500/month child support payments.
