On Friday, July 15, The New York Daily News reported that Hollywood star Drew Barrymore and spouse Will Kopelman are filing for divorce after being separated for several months.
Barrymore, 41, and Kopelman, 39, confirmed in April that they were living separately. The divorce procedure is amicable, especially as the former couple were long-time friends before they decided to get married in 2012. Barrymore had two former marriages, to Jeremy Thomas and Tom Green, before marrying Kopelman. The estranged couple previously stated that they will consider themselves a family even after their separation and that their two daughters will be their “first priority.”
