A father of 30 is now in court asking that his child support payments be lowered because he is having trouble managing these payments with the rest of his bills.
According to court documents, the 33-year-old man has 30 children by 11 different women. The Tennessee man works a minimum wage job and half of his paycheck (the maximum amount allowable by state law) is garnished for child support payments.
Some of the mothers are receiving only $1.49 per month in child support. He was in court in 2009 and told officials he would have no more children because he had 21 at the time. He then had four children in each of the next two years and is now requesting that his child support payment be modified.
