Ex-NBA player Sean Banks charged with domestic violence by Englewood police

Former professional basketball player Sean Banks is in trouble again with the police after a domestic incident in the home of his child’s mother on Friday, September 27.

According to Englewood Det. Capt. Timothy Torell, 28-year-old Banks broke into the woman’s house and verbally harassed her. After he was told to leave the house, he slashed the tires of her vehicle and fled. Banks has numerous warrants for other charges, including armed burglary, weapons possession, criminal mischief, and harassment.

Banks had been previously arrested for domestic violence in January and was involved in a series of burglaries in 2011.
