Reports on April 17 said that the wife of actor Columbus Short filed for divorce and successfully sought a temporary restraining order, a Los Angeles Times article stated.
Columbus’ wife Tuere Tanee Short filed the divorce documents on April 15 at the Los Angeles County Superior Court. The estranged couple started living separately on April 7 after a domestic fight. In her documents, Tuere mentioned irreconcilable differences and was seeking full custody of their 2-year-old daughter. Tuere decided to file for divorce and the restraining order after allegedly experiencing physical abuse from the ‘Scandal’ actor. Columbus and Tuere are scheduled for a court hearing to review the permanence of the restraining order on May 6.
